The cooperative way for the right to housing. Cooperative housing forum in cession of use.

This Forum is an initiative of the XES, Habicoop and REAS cooperative housing sector. Three full days to network between communities, share technical knowledge on policies and regulatory changes, demonstrations, anti-repressive dinners and much more. 

From Matia we participated in the round table on Saturday 26th November: "Dependence, care and architecture in projects for the elderly Present and future of the management of dependence in the elderly. Collaborative proposals and challenges of cooperative housing" with:

• Maider Azurmendi, social worker and Director of home and community care at the Matia Fundazioa.
• Ana Fernández, architect and co-author of the book "Architectures of care: towards an activist ageing".
• Irati Mogollón, PhD in sociology and co-author of the book "Architectures of care: towards an activist ageing".
• Elisa Pozo, researcher responsible for architectural design at the Matia Fundazioa.
