Building a new country: European funds at the service of social innovation
Institutional appointment organized by the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030 of the Government of Spain in which twenty social innovation projects are presented, involving more than one hundred pioneering organizations in processes of social transformation, in the field of care and support for the elderly, people with disabilities, people experiencing homelessness, children and youth and models of community care in rural areas.
The aim of these projects is to enable people in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion to choose and develop their life project. The initiatives presented involve historic funding of 156 million euros from the Government of Spain and in particular from the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
