Etxean Ondo Araba

Pilot project to improve home care and community inclusion and participation of the elderly in some municipalities of the Basque Country. The project presented has, as a fundamental characteristic of its context, the territory where the ten municipalities of which it is composed are located. It deals with rural habitats and, as described long ago (Garcia Sanz, 1997; Rodriguez Rodriguez, 2004), the phenomenon of ageing and the policies that, in relation to older people, must adapt to this reality because differentiated actions are required with respect to urban habitats.
