Technical conference: "Housing alternatives. Cohousing"
An event organised by the Madrid City Council's Directorate General for the Elderly, in which, based on a reflective analysis of the needs and relationships between housing and ageing, and the situation and trends regarding both in different territories at regional, national and international level, it will look at the way in which these alternatives are approached in practice. From actions aimed at ensuring that older people remain in their own homes, to situations where they need to move to traditional residential centres. From the search for a synergetic intergenerational coexistence, to those who form new homes from individualities in search of sharing new paths.
Among the participants will be our colleagues Maider Azurmendi, head of Community Cooperation, and Elisa Pozo Menéndez, researcher in charge of architectural design at Matia, in a round table entitled: "Controversies, is it necessary to share? different models and experiences", in which other models of housing alternatives will be presented, led through the importance of co-creation and participation in the designs and life in common.
