Orio Care Ecosystem

The care ecosystem of Orio was born with the aim of transforming the reality of care systems in the town of Orio in a participatory and feminist way. For this, a first year of participatory process is formulated with the starting signal offered in Zaintzak Plazara (March 17).

Formed with a motor group led by the Saregileak/Rederas of the women's house of Orio, the whole team of Social Services, the mayor's office, the communication company of the city council The Niu and the collaboration of Emagin kooperatiba.

At the same time, from September onwards, we intend to start piloting through a "Care Office" a space for prevention and support in the realities of care, work of dialogue between different actors who receive, give or participate in care, etc.. A space to pilot possible programs, spaces for coordination and cooperation between public-private-community entities.
