Long-lived society and local policies: challenges and opportunities, rights and diversities.

This course aims to discuss public policies on longevity and life cycle with a local perspective, intersectional, community perspective and inclusive approach to adapt these policies to the sociodemographic structure, heterogeneity in aging processes, inequalities and different territorial contexts.


From Matia we participated in the round table “Emerging challenges: housing and coexistence models for a long-lived society”, with our colleague Elisa Pozo, researcher responsible for architectural design at Matia Institute, sharing experiences of coexistence and residential models for the elderly.


An event organized by the Area of Social Sustainability, Life Cycle and Community of the Diputació de Barcelona and the Universitat Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) and hosted by the CCCB in Barcelona.
