Dr. Kevin O'Hara completed his residency training in geriatrics at the Gregorio Marañón University Hospital in Madrid in 2016, after which he went on to work in the Memory Unit and the Psychogeriatrics Unit of the Bermingham Hospital of the Matia Foundation in Donostia-San Sebastián, where he currently works as head of the Unit.

During his training he has done external rotations in Psychogeriatrics and Oncogeriatrics in Spain and abroad (MD Cancer Center and Moffitt Cancer Center). In addition, he has two master's degrees, one in dementia and another in palliative care. He is currently an active member of the dementia group of the SEGG and has collaborated with the delirium group of the same medical society.

In addition to the above mentioned in the field of research, during his training he has collaborated with different research projects at national and international level, for which he has been distinguished with two awards, the first for the best oral communication at the SEGG congress 2016 and the second, to a basic research course taught by Harvard Medical School, on aspects related to frailty and functional recovery in 2014.
