Nagusilan Araba organizes, on November 7 at the Europa Conference Center, a conference to reflect on unwanted loneliness in rural areas, and the strategies that are being developed and that have emerged from the community level.

During the event, different initiatives will be presented, to some extent innovative, which already have some experience and a positive impact on the welfare of the rural community in which they intervene, such as “Breaking Distances”, in Taramundi (Asturias); the “Theater on unwanted loneliness”, of the Council of Elders of Amurrio; the Silver Thread project, of Nagusilan or, finally, Etxezain, which tries to enable the social integration of women in Alava.

Our colleague Sara Marsillas, researcher at Matia Instituto, participates from this house.
