Just one year ago, all our hopes were pinned on vaccination as the only way to end the health pandemic caused by COVID-19. We lived through a very tough 2020, with fear and suffering. But where we showed that, despite everything, even the Administration's interest in keeping the elderly locked up and isolated, they can (and should) be treated with dignity. They showed us that they are stronger than they think they are and, unwittingly, they gave us new energy to continue to be by their side and that of their families.

This virtual meeting was attended, among other guests, by our colleague Nerea Galdona, coordinator at the Matía Foundation of the "Sendian" programme and of the training programme for carers associated with the "PECEF" financial aid.

Elhuyar and Usurbil Town Council are organising a series of talks that will take place from 14 April to 12 May, every Wednesday, in the Sutegi hall in Usurbil and by streaming, at 18:30 on the portals usurbilkultura.eus and zientzia.eus.
