Zaharrak gara eta libre

This Friday we are taking part in a round table entitled "Zaharrak gara eta libre" (We are old and free), which forms part of the cycle of conferences on care organised by Usurbil Town Council and Emagin Elkartea.

Our colleague, Nerea Almazán, a researcher at the Matia Institute, will focus on the invisibility of older women, as well as on different aspects linked to this phenomenon, such as the concept of older women, the particularities of the experience of being a woman in old age, other specific ageist discriminations, etc. She will conclude her speech by referring to the invisibilisation of older women, as well as to the different aspects related to this phenomenon. She will conclude her speech by referring to different good practices related to the accompaniment of older women that we carry out from our house.

The event will take place in the Cultural Centre of Usurbil "Potxoenea" from 18:00h.
