#StopAgeism "When age is not an issue"

A visual day organised by Asispa with the aim of raising awareness of the third cause of discrimination in the world, that related to age or ageism. It will feature two round tables moderated by the presenter Isabel Gemio. The first will analyse what ageism is, whether society is aware of this type of discrimination and whether it is worsening in the current context due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The second round table will seek the construction of a positive narrative regarding age and ageing, reflecting on the possibilities we have as a society to avoid this type of discrimination.

The conference can be followed live from 16h on Asispa's Youtube channel and Facebook, and will be attended by, among others, personalities such as:

• José Aniorte. Delegate of the Government Area of Families, Equality and Social Welfare of the Madrid City Council.
• Elena del Barrio. Sociologist and expert on the elderly. Co-director of Matia Instituto.
• Isabel Prinz. Collective of actresses "de50pararriba".
