QAVAD - Quality of life of older people at home
Proyectos
QAVAD is a European Erasmus + project that, from the binomial accompaniment/care and training, seeks to promote the development or maintenance of cognitive, motor and social skills, essential for the quality of life of those people who require support and wish to remain in their homes. On the basis of local or national good practices compiled with the collaboration of various territorial agents that make up the Local Technical Committee in each of the participating countries, QAVAD aims to design a training programme for people who care at home and to produce a practical guide aimed at both professional and family carers that responds to their needs with regard to care at home, in order to improve the quality of life of older people and carers.
The objectives of the project:
- To prevent the isolation of people and their families in vulnerable situations at home.
- To improve and diversify the offer of training courses for social and health care workers who provide home care.
- Promote the coordination of the actors in the territory who work with people at home.
- Support the emergence of good partnership practices between institutions and homes.
Expected results:
- PI1: Inventory and analysis of existing training and good practices. Identification of needs.
- PI2: Development of a training aimed at training professional carers in 3 successive stages: production of an initial training programme, testing with professionals and students, adaptation and formalisation of the final programme.
- PI3: A guide for professional and family carers which will propose tested activities and tools, directly linked to the training principles developed in the framework of the training.
