Panel discussion at the Silver Film Festival
Age discrimination, i.e. ageism, occurs in many ways in our society, without us being aware of it. How does it happen? How does it affect us? What consequences does it have on people, on the economy, on health and on society? How can it be combated? What can the media do? What can I do?
Within the framework of the II edition of the Silver Film Festival in Bilbao, a round table will be held to talk about "Ageism". Among the guest speakers, our colleague and co-director of Matia Institute, Elena del Barrio, who will be accompanied by experts such as Manel Domínguez, doctor in social communication and author of the book "Senior: La vida que no cesa", Iñigo Calvo Sotomayor, professor and researcher of strategy and economy of ageing at the University of Deusto, Rafa López Aróstegi, advisor of Social Policies of the Basque Government, among others.
This activity will take place on 14 March at 18:00 at the BBK Kuna in Bilbao.
