1st Conference "Person-Centred Care"
The World Health Organisation (WHO) establishes person-centred care models as a strategic and key axis for improvement in long-term care for dependent persons. These models promote areas of improvement in the effective participation of users and in their quality of life.
The philosophy, values and approach of these models place people at the centre, as bearers of rights and capabilities. Operational models are established in all the resources that cover the care and attention of people; residential centres, day centres, home help and telecare.
ARTECAM will bring together national experts who are pioneers in research, knowledge and implementation of these models in Spain, on the 24th of May at the Department of Social Welfare of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.
