1st International Conference on Mistreatment and Abuse of the Elderly

Unión Democrática de Pensionistas y Jubilados de España UDP, is organising this conference which will address situations of mistreatment and abuse in which the elderly find themselves, from an international perspective. The aim is to demystify and raise awareness among professionals, social entities, administrations and society in general, about this hidden form of violence and, at the same time, to empower older people themselves, so that they identify these discriminatory practices and report possible cases of mistreatment and abuse, as an essential condition for their eradication.
