On the occasion of the International Day of Care and Support of the United Nations, the Global Observatory on Long-Term Care will host an event throughout the day, in which a large number of experts in the field will present papers on key issues that need to be addressed to move towards robust, adaptable and equitable long-term care systems worldwide, as well as a special session highlighting the work of the World Health Organization in this area.

XVII SADECA Spring Conference. Networked knowledge management

In June we travelled to Granada to participate in the spring conference organised by the Andalusian Society for Healthcare Quality (SADECA) in collaboration with the Andalusian School of Public Health (EASP). This year the event will focus on two main themes: "New paradigms in knowledge management" and "The network effect and the collective construction of knowledge". Elena del Barrio, researcher at Matia Instituto, will be one of the speakers at one of the round tables, where she will talk about the experience of the Basque network of friendly cities, Euskadi Lagunkoia.
