Adinberri Congress: Challenges and Opportunities for Healthy Ageing in Gipuzkoa

In Gipuzkoa, by 2031, 46.5% of the population will be over 55 years of age. This trend towards an increasingly ageing society poses a series of challenges and opportunities for which our territory is already preparing. Etorkizuna Eraikiz, an initiative of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, is organising the "Adinberri Congress" on 22 and 23 November in San Sebastian. A unique opportunity to analyse ageing in all its aspects; from innovation in care and attention to the silver economy as a driving force for economic activity in Gipuzkoa. And to do so, we will break down local and international experiences in conferences and debates by experts, with the participation of the public. Because talking about the elderly means talking about healthy lifestyles, education and training, home automation and architecture, business and innovation, public policies, care and attention, and of course, values and volunteering.
