Leitza care ecosystem

How is a care ecosystem built in a rural population of nafarroa? What are the characteristics they share and what are the realities that need to be addressed and transformed?

The ecosystem of care of Leitza was born with the aim of transforming the reality of the care systems of the village of Leitza in a participatory and popular way. To this end, a first year of participatory process is formulated, characterized by a driving group of 14 participants who respond to the different pluralities of the care system of Leitza.

Specifically, it is made up of people in charge of social services, professional caregivers, community nurses in the area, companies providing care services, city council, mayor's office, caregivers, internal workers, associations related to care, affective caregivers, etc. Along with this space for continuous dialogue, for the construction of Leitza's care ecosystem, we found a care table.

Formed with more than 40 participants from the citizenry, it serves as a body for contrast and participation in the topics discussed and for the future construction of its roadmap, to be implemented and applied at a practical level during the end of October and beginning of 2025.
