Graduated in Social Work from the Basque Public University in 2014 and Master in Social Participation and Community Development from the same university in 2015, Marta is currently pursuing a PhD in Human Rights on Community Social Work at the University of Deusto with a thesis on models of implementation of community intervention from Social Work. Expert in Social Services and community, Marta has been closely linked since her adolescence with social movements related to social change.
She has developed her professional activity in different areas; among others immigration and international protection, social work Planning, Management and Coordination, as well as technical support in multiple subjects to social work professionals.
She currently participates, through Matia Instituto, in the Euskadi Lagunkoia Program of the Department of Employment and Public Policies of the Basque Government, as well as in the planning, design and implementation of new care ecosystems in municipalities of Gipuzkoa and Navarra.
