Person-Centred Care (PCC) is considered a valuable approach for improving the quality of care for the elderly (Nolan, Davies, Brown, Keady, & Nolan, 2004). It is now regarded as: a) a cornerstone in the design of health and social services; b) a cornerstone in evaluating the quality of care; c) the main reference for the movement for change in the nursing home model.
