Innovation and Intergenerational Solidarity: Project SHARE

This activity, which is part of the XXIV edition of the Science Week, aims to analyze the urban, methodological, sociological and technological innovation proposed by the SHARE project, linked to strengthening social inclusion through intergenerational solidarity in municipalities, facing the problem of gentrification, among others.

Dimensions of loneliness during aging: empirical evidence for public policy making.

This event is part of the activities of the Apoyo+65 project, an initiative of the Complutense University of Madrid whose objective is to delve into the meaning of social support, loneliness, and the well-being of the elderly in the social scenario resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, which is likely to last over time.

Inauguration of Gertu Kultura

3rd Conference on Inclusion in the Basque Country

Throughout this legislature, the Basque Government's Department of Labour and Employment has made decisive progress in the articulation of policies for inclusion in the Basque Country. In addition to the recent approval of Law 14/2022, of 22 December, on the Basque Income Guarantee and Inclusion System, the 5th Basque Inclusion Plan has been drawn up and approved, which articulates all the policies developed by the different institutions in this area.

Walking the talk for dementia Symposium

On 5 and 6 May we will meet in the Auditorium of the Hotel San Francisco in Santiago de Compostela to talk about how we live, work and research dementia today, providing ideas for a fairer and more inclusive future for all.

Presentation event of SEE ME ("Look at me"), an Erasmus + KA2 project in which a training toolkit has been developed with the aim of contributing to the improvement of care and social inclusion of older people by addressing their social and meaning needs, talents and dreams.

This toolkit has been co-designed in an iterative process with carers, volunteers and the organisations that make up the project consortium.
