Building a new country: European funds at the service of social innovation

Ninth edition of ACRA's conference in ACP in which one of the most important challenges facing the sector is faced: how to respond to aging in an increasingly changing world. An appointment in which to discover innovative pioneering experiences in a framework of participation and debate open to attendees.

Among the participants will be Iraide Robles, social worker and case manager of Matia, and Juncal Gárate, a neighbor of Lugaritz supported housing. Both will share their vision of this innovative housing based on a home model perspective and a community approach.

Presentation of the "Convive" Model of the centres of Fundación Caja Navarra

Fundación Caja Navarra has been working on a change of model for its centres for the elderly. This new model, which we at Matia Instituto have supported, is the result of collaborative work between the elderly and the professional teams at the centres, as well as the Foundation itself.

In order to make the knowledge gathered during this time available to society, a guide has been drawn up, which will be presented publicly at this meeting, together with some of the good practices worked on in the centres, which are sure to be inspiring.

3rd Conference on Inclusion in the Basque Country

Throughout this legislature, the Basque Government's Department of Labour and Employment has made decisive progress in the articulation of policies for inclusion in the Basque Country. In addition to the recent approval of Law 14/2022, of 22 December, on the Basque Income Guarantee and Inclusion System, the 5th Basque Inclusion Plan has been drawn up and approved, which articulates all the policies developed by the different institutions in this area.
