Society and dignified treatment of the elderly: Are we doing it right?

On the occasion of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, we have jointly organised Big Friends and Matia Instituto a Webinar in which we will debate on the treatment that society offers to #elderly people, through the following question: "Are we doing it right? 

Experts such as Carmen Sanchez Moro, Mayte Sancho, Penélope Castejón, and Pura Diaz-Veiga will take part in the event and will address issues such as: the treatment of older people in an ageing society, stereotypes and age discrimination and the keys to progress towards good treatment.

During the event, the initial results of a study on stereotypes and discriminatory attitudes towards the elderly in the context of the Covid19 health crisis will be presented.
