Elena Olariu
PhD in Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2016), Master in Public Health from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2013), she has worked in research, consultancy and pharmaceutical industry in several countries, such as UK, Spain and Romania. Elena has extensive research experience in health-related quality of life, health economics, health technology assessment, public health and mental health. She has extensive research experience in both research project management and data analysis, as well as fieldwork in population-based studies and clinical samples. Throughout her career she has participated in the development and performance of population-based surveys, systematic literature reviews, cohort studies and health outcome development studies.
She is currently working at Fundación Matia Instituto as a health researcher providing methodological support in several research projects on topics related to the gerontological field, such as dementia, stroke, nutrition and creation and validation of assessment instruments.
